Real Time Event Alerts
The PAWZ Real Time Event component provides real time notification to one or more users of potential performance problems. System administrators can easily define thresholds for any number of parameters. When these thresholds are violated for a pre-specified duration of time a notification is sent via email or pager. This allows the receiver to take action to rectify the problem in real time before system performance degrades.
Types of events include:
When a device goes offline or comes on line
When files grow or shrink beyond predefined sizes
When disks sizes grow or shrink beyond predefined sizes
When a process or services stops/starts
